By choosing to follow the Two-Phase Treatment plan, this will help us work towards repairing and preventing current and future jaw issues that your child may have. These braces offer a more aesthetic look on your smile as it goes through its transformation journey. Because these brackets are designed specifically to your individual tooth shape, they are more discreet than traditional braces and allow for a shorter wear time. This is because less adjustments are required during the course of the procedure.
Invisalign® Clear Aligners for Children, Teens and Adults
Looking for a teeth straightening experience but are not interested in wearing traditional braces? Invisalign may be the perfect option for you! Invisalign Clear Aligners are clear plastic trays that are fitted specifically for your smile! Invisalign is a great option for people of all ages! They are installed with some attachments to ensure that the tray stays snug on your teeth with the exception of tray removal during eating , flossing, or when you brush your teeth. Invisalign is an excellent option for anyone looking for a little more convenience without compromising effective results.
Iconix Champagne and Gold Braces
Iconix brackets are light champagne colored braces designed to be more discreet while still offering strength, durability, and stain resistance. Unlike Invisalign, these brackets remain fixed to the teeth throughout treatment. Their subtle champagne tone provides a softer, more aesthetic alternative to traditional silver braces. This makes them an excellent option for patients who want something less noticeable than metal braces but prefer not to use Invisalign.
For those that prefer a bolder more traditional gold, we offer those as well.
Surgical Orthodontics
Surgical Orthodontics (Orthognathic Surgery) is designed to correct severe jaw irregularities while working in conjunction with improving facial aesthetics. At Belmar Orthodontics, both Dr. T.C Hardy and Dr. Addie Peterson use their orthodontic expertise paired with surgical knowledge to complete complex jaw alignment issues that need a little extra care that braces and aligners cannot do on their own. Our orthodontists work closely with oral surgeons to carefully reposition your jaw so it better aligns with your treatment needs.
