You get immediate 100% coverage for essential preventive care and lower out-of-pocket costs. You are estimated to be 100% covered for preventive, 80% for basic, and 50% for major procedures.

With Principal Dental PPO High plan, one set of post-treatment retainers (for orthodontic purposes) is typically covered for the course of a lifetime. Keep in mind that the general information given here may not apply to your benefits, limitations, maximums, waiting periods, and deductibles. Principal Dental PPO High Plan offers an estimated 50% coverage for lingual braces. The waiting period is 6 months while the maximum lifetime benefit is $1,500. When visiting a PPO orthodontist, you will receive the $1500 calendar year maximum.
Does Principal Dental cover X-Rays?
Yes, Principal Dental covers dental x-rays. Principal Dental offers full (100%) coverage of dental x-rays. Principal Dental plans do not require waiting periods for diagnostic services such as dental x-rays. However, some policies only pay for bitewing x‐rays, one set every 12 months, while full mouth x-rays once every 5 years.
Principal Dental covers Braces?
Yes, braces are covered by individual and group plans offered by Principal Dental. However, there is a maximum orthodontic coverage limit of $1,500 per person and a 6-month waiting period. In conclusion, if you choose a higher premium plan from Principal Dental, braces are covered.
Is Invisalign covered by Principal Dental?
