Delta Dental PPO Individual – Premium Plan

Delta Dental PPO Premium plan offers the broadest coverage. It covers more procedures, has lower out-of-pocket costs and covers orthodontics for both adults and children. This plan has a $50 annual deductible, which is the amount you pay for each person per year before your plan starts making payments for your orthodontic services. It has a $2,000 annual maximum which is the total amount for every person your plan will pay toward the cost of orthodontic care per year.

Yes, both Delta Dental PPO Premium plan and Delta Dental PPO Plus Premier give an estimate of 100% coverage for diagnostic services like bitewing x-rays and full mouth x-rays with no waiting period. Delta Dental PPO Plus Premier provides coverage for bitewing x-rays twice in a calendar year for children under the age of 18 and once in 5 years for full mouth x-rays. Source

Additionally, keep an eye out for restrictions and exclusions. There may be a clause limiting orthodontic benefits only for those who are 19 years of age or younger.
